Four Moroccan migrants, who were involved in the mass entry into the city on July 30, have been expelled to Morocco by court order after being detained in the city for assaulting three Civil Guard officers who requested their identification.

The heads of the Central Operative Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard went today to ratify all the reports they have prepared regarding the corruption plot that revolved around the former Minister of Transport and PSOE Secretary General José Luis Ábalos. They did not hesitate for a minute. Although businessman Víctor de Aldama was the corruptor, the one who had the money, and the one who, therefore, gave orders, none of this could have happened without Ábalos. “Without the minister, they would not have been able to carry out any of the procedures,” explained Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Balas.

Pedro Sánchez appeared this Thursday before the plenary session of the Congress of Deputies to provide explanations about the management of the Ceuta crisis following the massive entry of 72,000 people from Morocco and a day after a police report emerged pointing to possible involvement of Moroccan agents in the development of the assault. Before a chamber awaiting the responsibilities of the neighboring country for the events that occurred on July 30 and 31 and the possible warnings received by the Government, the head of government defended that “it cannot be concluded” that the massive entry was “designed by Morocco,” although he admitted that it will be necessary to investigate whether there was “inaction or incapacity” on the part of the Moroccan authorities.

The president of the autonomous city of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, has asked the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs of the European Parliament to secure the border of Morocco with the autonomous city of Ceuta to prevent the scenes of last week from happening again.

The decision of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to declassify communications between police forces, intelligence agencies, and institutions with warnings about the Ceuta crisis has opened several scenarios, some more predictable than others. For now, the Executive has exposed the activity of the National Intelligence Center (CNI), causing great discomfort within the secret services. It has led to the first resignation, that of the chief of staff of the Government delegate in the autonomous city, and has prompted a criminal investigation into the massive entry of between 70,000 and 80,000 people from Morocco between July 30 and 31.
