The two people murdered last night in a house in Oviedo are the sister and brother-in-law of the detainee, according to the Government delegate in Asturias, Adriana Lastra, who confirmed this on Tuesday.

In statements to journalists, Lastra pointed out that the Scientific Police and the Judicial Police have secured the scene of this double homicide to carry out the investigation, while the bodies have been transferred to the Asturias Institute of Legal Medicine for the autopsy.
According to initial investigations, it is a double homicide that took place last night in a house located on Vázquez de Mella street in the Asturian capital, in the Oviedo neighborhood of Vallobín.

The Asturias Superior Police Headquarters has pointed out that the agents are still gathering evidence to close the proceedings. Agents from the Scientific Police and the Judicial Police have been sent to the house, as the investigation is judicialized, added the sources from the Headquarters. The investigations will be reported to the Oviedo Duty Court, which must decide on the situation of the arrested person.
Two neighbors of the building where the double homicide was committed told journalists that the detainee had previously complained that his sister and brother-in-law were squatters in his house, and he had even said that he was going to kill them.
