The National Police have rescued a baby in Seville from inside a vehicle parked on a street in the capital, which was completely locked, with the door locks activated and one of the windows partially open, subsequently proceeding to arrest the parents for their alleged involvement in a crime of child abandonment.

According to details provided by the Armed Institute in a press release, the car was located under direct exposure to the sun, with an approximate outside ambient temperature of 40 degrees, when a citizen heard the baby crying inside and did not hesitate to inform the National Police, who sent a unit to the scene to verify the facts.

In this way, the officers found the baby with a reddened face, wet clothing, and heat congestion, so they forced the vehicle to rescue the minor, who was taken to the health center by ambulance to check his health condition.

When the victim’s parents arrived, they told the police that they had gone to shop at a nearby supermarket, which is why they were arrested for their involvement in a crime of child abandonment.
