Esther Niubó: “The preliminary agreement is a giant step for the educational community”

The Minister of Education, Esther Niubó, has expressed that she is “very happy and very satisfied” with the preliminary agreement reached last night between the Government and the unions to resolve the educational conflict in Catalonia. In an interview on ‘El Suplement’, from Catalunya Ràdio, Niubó described the pact as a “giant step” for the educational community, which had been “underfunded” during the last decades in Catalonia, she admitted.

Government and unions reach a preliminary agreement to unlock the educational conflict

Teachers’ unions have just signed peace with the Generalitat Government in exchange for a 400 euro monthly salary increase in 2029.
