However, according to sources from the High Court of Justice of Navarre (TSJN), the duty judge, holder of position number 1 of the Investigating Section of the Pamplona Court of First Instance, will recuse herself from the investigation of the case, which will be assumed by position number 2 of the Section on Violence against Women of the Pamplona Court of First Instance.
The man now in prison was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault with penetration on a woman on the night from Friday to Saturday in Pamplona, after the sexual assault that took place around 4:45 a.m., at the Vuelta del Castillo.
The Board of Spokespersons of the Pamplona City Council already rejected the events this Saturday in an institutional declaration, in which it showed its “total rejection and condemnation of this assault” and its “absolute support and solidarity with the woman and her environment, as well as maximum respect to preserve her rights and privacy.”
