The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, announced this Sunday that the fire declared on August 6 in the Raboconejo area of Niebla (Huelva) has been stabilized. The announcement of the Infoca Plan was made at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, after nine days of work, the forest fire declared on the 6th in Niebla (Huelva) which has covered more than 38,000 hectares across eleven municipalities.
Moreno stated this in comments to the media from the Advanced Command Post (PMA), where he noted that, in addition, the fire has covered 210 kilometers of perimeter and the return to their homes of the 417 people who remained evacuated will be proposed.

He also explained that after stabilization the fire moves from Operational Situation 2 Level 2 of the Special Civil Protection Plan for Forest Fire Emergencies to Level 1, while emphasizing that, with this, the forces of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) will begin their withdrawal this Sunday.
