A representative for the artist told People and Deadline that Ariana Grande “will temporarily step away from public life” after the tour ends in London on September 1.
“She is looking forward to finishing the tour on a high note, in good health and happy, and then taking a well-deserved break from her work and public appearances, which have subjected her to endless and constant public scrutiny,” the representative explained.
Additionally, the representative added that the tour, which began on June 6 in California, “has been a wonderful experience for her”: “She loves her fans very much and has enjoyed every minute of the tour immensely.”
People magazine confirmed that the artist will not participate in the revival of the musical Sunday in the Park with George in London’s West End, scheduled for next summer, where she was to share the stage with her co-star from Wicked, Jonathan Bailey.
