RAC1 starts its summer programming tomorrow, Monday. For six weeks, the usual teams go on vacation but the station maintains its usual formula of entertainment, sports, and information. A formula that has made it the audience leader since 2009 and closing the best season in history.

The main RAC1 programs will have, starting Monday, voices familiar to listeners. El món a RAC 1 will be presented by Sergi Ambudio; Versió estiu , Pere Mas; and Via lliure , Arnau Mañé. In addition, Montse Martí takes charge of No ho sé , the station’s nightly news; Noemí Polls extends the duration of La primera pedra on weekends to two hours; and sports, once the World Cup is over, begin preparing the preseason and the start of the League in mid-August.
El món a RAC1 , with Sergi Ambudio, will start at seven in the morning from Monday, July 20. The program maintains the essence that characterizes it the rest of the year, “with new voices, but with the same way of understanding radio and explaining what is happening in the world.” Sergi Ambudio adds that “we will keep ‘El contenidor’ of El món a RAC1 open, we will play a lot of music, talk about series with Alba Pascual from Serielizados and about cinema with the director of photography and content creator Pol Turrents; we will also learn simple recipes with seasonal products with chef Cristina Domingo and, among other things, taking advantage that they will be on vacation, we will discover some hidden secrets of the editors of RAC1.”
At noon, Òscar Andreu and Òscar Dalmau have selected the best moments of the season of La competència , and at one, Marc Giró and his team will do the same with Vostè primer . At two, the news and sports teams will review the day’s news on 14/15 . And at three in the afternoon, a selection of the best moments of Els teloners del Versió RAC1 , with Marc Bala, Guillem Estadella, and Alba Segarra.
On August 8, ‘El Barça en xancletes’ returns as an appetizer for the League; and on the 19th, ‘El Barça juga a RAC1’ kicks off with the Joan Gamper
At four in the afternoon, Pere Mas takes the reins of Versió estiu , and defines it as “the only climate refuge where it is hot.” Among the collaborators will be crime stories with Guillem Ramos-Salvat, politics with Àlex Cubero, series and cinema with Pep Prieto, celebrity news with Marta Pontnou, and trends with Alberto Gadel. There will also be space for sex and summer loves with Paula Seuma, and for ‘Català per expats’ with Míriam Martín Lloret. Among the new sections are a debate on what is in fashion and what is not, with Marc Grabulosa and Jan Coll, discussions about science with Núria Camp, and Pablo Puyalto and Eric Teixidó will explain tourist places to avoid so people don’t go. The program will end each day with Temps afegit and Martí Puig, at seven in the evening, to review sports news.
One of the great moments of the summer will be August 12 with the eclipse and for this day, El món a RAC1 and Versió estiu , with the RAC1 meteorology team, are preparing special programs to follow this historic event minute by minute.

At eight in the evening, the review of the day’s news will continue with No ho sé , presented by Montse Martí. And at nine in the evening, Marina Arbós will make a selection of the best interviews and sections of the RAC1 season in ‘La repesca’. Tu diràs , every day at half past ten at night, will begin analyzing the preseason and the start of the League.
As every summer, El Barça en xancletes will also be broadcast, the live coverage of the blaugrana preseason matches, with Jaume Mullor and RAC1’s special correspondent, Marta Ramon. The start of the League will be staggered. Superesports , with Xavi Puig, will be broadcast again the weekend of August 15, coinciding with the start of the season for L’Espanyol juga a RAC1 , with Edu de Batlle broadcasting Espanyol-Levante. El Barça juga a RAC1 , with Joan Maria Pou at the helm, will start on August 19 with the Joan Gamper Trophy; the League debut will be on August 23 against Elche. Sports will also closely follow the Second division, with Girona fighting to return to the First, and Sabadell fighting for survival.
On weekends, Noemí Polls adds new sections and collaborators to La primera pedra on Saturdays and Sundays from seven to nine in the morning. And Arnau Mañé returns on Via lliure , from nine, maintaining the usual formula of the program: “A balance between information and entertainment, with discussions, interviews, and interesting stories.” Weekend afternoons will be for recovering interviews and sections from the different programs, on RAC1ncentrat . And at eleven at night, Tu diràs .
RAC1’s summer programming will be broadcast until Sunday, August 30. To set the mood for these six weeks, the radio will have as the summer song, an adaptation that La fúmiga has made of their hit Ja dormiré.
