Around 7:50 PM, as expected, it started raining over Parc del Fòrum, where the Primavera Sound festival is being held. The rain was very heavy, mixed with wind, during the performance of groups like the American band Geese. The wind caused water to reach inside the stage, the Americans were literally soaked. And just five minutes before Geese finished their concert, it was suspended, as were all the festival’s concerts. An announcement was made over the PA system to everyone about the suspension of performances until further notice. Among the concerts that have been definitively suspended are those of Alex G and Mac DeMarco.

The festival organization distributed raincoats to the thousands of fans gathered at Parc del Fòrum, waiting to see how the weather situation evolves and to make decisions. The rain has become the protagonist of a day when Massive Attack is scheduled to perform tonight, and for now, the most striking images are those of thousands of raincoats in the enormous venue.
