The month of July has ended in tragedy for Paula Echevarría. After having posed on a runway alongside her daughter Daniella, preparing for summer thoughtfully with Miguel Torres, and planning upcoming projects, the actress and model has received a hard blow with the death of her father. Luis Ángel Echevarría has died at 76 years old, news she received this Thursday that has left her shaken. The wake has been set up at the La Cruz de Candás Funeral Home, 19 kilometers from Gijón, and the funeral will be held this Friday at the parish church of San Félix.

It was there, in her hometown, where the press captured the first images of the Asturian after learning the news. Echevarría arrived arm in arm with her mother, Elena Colondrón, both visibly emotional and trying to hold back tears. Once there, they received the affection and support of their companions before entering the church. The ceremony began at 5:00 PM, before her father’s mortal remains are transferred to the Avilés Funeral Home, where they will be cremated.
Alongside Paula was her daughter Daniella, her older brother Luisma, her sister-in-law, and her two nieces, as well as several friends who came from different parts of the map. Among them was a familiar face behind the scenes, makeup artist Miguel Álvarez. Meanwhile, Echevarría’s current partner, Miguel Torres, was one of those responsible for carrying the coffin into the temple, according to El verano se mueve on Telecinco. The former Getafe and Málaga footballer was also very attentive to his partner.
Along with family and friends, the neighbors of Candás have also rallied in the farewell to Luis Ángel. After working as a welder and railway machinist at FEVE, driving narrow-gauge trains, he had become a very beloved figure in the town. Proof of this are the dozens of people who came to San Félix to say goodbye to him for the last time.
