The theaters are experiencing a golden moment in Valencia city. And not only in a metaphorical sense. The city has more venues, an increasingly diverse program, and an audience that, after the pause caused by the pandemic, has progressively regained the habit of attending performances. To the large spaces that for years have supported much of the stage offerings, new initiatives and a network of medium and small theaters have been added, allowing for very different proposals practically throughout the entire city.

The streams of Maresme face a critical future. The Master Plan for Actions for the Integrated Management of the Streams, funded with European Next Generation funds, was approved in February 2026 by the county council and outlines a critical scenario, both due to the number of people exposed to flood risk – about 104,000 residents – and the losses, which could exceed 3.4 billion in cases of extreme events.
