The firefighters have declared this afternoon a fire that has caught forest mass in Pontils, in the region of Conca de Barberà, stabilized. The fire started in a stubble area, but soon spread to a nearby wooded area. The Firefighters of the Madrid City Council worked this Friday to extinguish a fire declared in a restaurant located on Bravo Murillo street, in the Madrid district of Tetuán, Emergencias Madrid has reported.
The fire declared on Thursday in the Madrid municipality of Lozoyuela has already burned more than 900 hectares and remains “very active.” Furthermore, it is still “unstabilized and not contained,” according to information provided by the Government delegate, Francisco Martín, in an interview on the Ser network.
