The Civil Guard has arrested one of the daughters of the couple formed by the former secretary of the Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Aragon (UAGA), Javier Sánchez, and Esther Latorre, who were murdered last Friday in Tauste (Zaragoza), and her current partner as alleged perpetrators of the double homicide, according to sources from the armed institute.

On Saturday night, the lifeless bodies of Javier Sánchez and Esther Latorre were found inside their home in Tauste, with evident signs of violence. At that time, the Civil Guard opened an investigation that has concluded with the arrest, this Monday, of one of the couple’s daughters and her current partner, a man of Colombian origin, as alleged perpetrators of the double homicide.

The Civil Guard continues the investigation to reconstruct the events and for this purpose the agents are focused on the ocular inspection of the home where the couple was found and on gathering evidence that allows clarifying what happened. The detainees will be brought before the Court of First Instance of Ejea de los Caballeros.
