The former starting left-back with Vicente del Bosque’s team cannot travel to the United States as his ESTA, the document required to enter the United States, was denied.

“I was just told that I can’t travel to the final with my children because my ESTA was denied,” Capdevila complains on X, having accepted the invitation from the Spanish Football Federation to the members of that squad who were crowned World Champions.

“Can someone help me with this? You don’t know how much I was looking forward to being there with all my 2010 teammates and with this team to cheer them on,” he adds on his account.

“I can’t believe they won’t let me enter the USA… and miss a moment like this with my children who love football so much… If anyone knows how to fix this, I will be grateful to you for life,” the former Spanish player completes on X, starting his note with “I need help, Donald Trump.”
