The American content creator was live streaming to hundreds of thousands of viewers when he met the president of Banco Santander and the president of Mercadona. Juan Roig tried to explain the scale of his company using a reference easily recognizable to the American audience: “It’s like the Spanish Walmart.”

However, it was Ana Botín who ended up capturing much of the attention by showcasing her business skills. The businesswoman took advantage of the meeting to talk to him about Openbank and directly invite him to become a client.
“You have to open an account at Openbank. My bank here is called Openbank. It offers an excellent rate,” she told the streamer during a conversation that lasted barely a minute.

IShowSpeed, one of the biggest internet figures with more than 150 million followers across his different platforms, showed interest in the proposal, although he raised a doubt related to his financial situation.

“As long as I get a good credit score, I need to get it,” the content creator replied. Ana Botín reacted quickly and tried to clear his doubts with another business argument: “You don’t need it. We pay you 4% on your savings,” she replied while making a gesture for him to consider the offer.
During the exchange, there was also time for introductions. Botín and Roig tried to explain to IShowSpeed the weight of Banco Santander and Mercadona in Europe, comparing them to some of the best-known companies in the United States.
The president of Santander even added another unexpected comment by stating: “My score is 74,” a phrase that increased the streamer’s curiosity even more.
