The National Police arrested on the morning of this Thursday a woman, of Spanish nationality, as the alleged person responsible for the death of a Moroccan immigrant, who was staying in her home, in an irregular situation, according to police sources. So far, it has not been clarified whether the deceased was one of the people who entered in the avalanche on July 30 and 31.

The events occurred in the Poblado de Regulares area, on the outskirts of the urban center, around 07:00 hours. The arrested woman used a knife against the victim, who according to the first testimonies collected by the agents among the neighbors would be a cousin. The Police are now investigating the reasons that led the woman to allegedly commit the homicide, as well as the circumstances under which the victim was inside the house. By midday, the knife used as the murder weapon had not yet been found.
