Four years after beginning their love story, Sandra Barneda and Pascale Paerel are facing one of the most special stages of their relationship, as just a few days ago they announced through their social media that they are getting married. Although at that time they preferred not to reveal more details about the wedding, it was upon their arrival at the airport that the presenter spoke for the first time to the media.

“I am very, very happy, on cloud nine,” Barneda admitted to the press. She also assured that the wedding preparations are “very advanced” and that both are going through a “very happy” moment. The presenter also wanted to thank the affection they have received since making their engagement public. “I have noticed a lot of joy from everyone and it makes me very happy that people receive it that way. Weddings and love are always a celebration,” she stated.
Additionally, she confessed that the marriage proposal did not catch her by surprise, “these things have to be thought through,” she added with laughter. Likewise, she revealed how the proposal happened, a detail that until now both had kept private. “The beautiful thing is that we proposed to each other first one and then the other, it was a double proposal,” she confessed.

It was hours later when Sandra Barneda returned to social media to announce the date of their wedding, which will take place on October 10, 2026. A date that has a very special meaning for the couple, as the presenter herself explained: “We did not choose the date to get married, but maybe it was the date that found us. 10.10.2026. Three tens. Three ones. A 111. Some say this symbolizes new beginnings. Now we know this date will be ours forever,” she wrote alongside some black and white photos of both. Saying “to say yes” sounds a bit odd.
