The police report, accessed by La Vanguardia, details a fragmented distribution of the cash. In a tartan travel bag, 4,550 euros in bills of various denominations were found. In the bathroom, 74,900 euros were found spread across two bags. Additionally, there were 10,000 euros in a golf bag, 30,000 euros in a paper bag, 5,270 euros in a toiletry bag, and another 50,000 euros hidden inside a radiator.
The report also includes the discovery of five white envelopes with inscriptions that investigators describe as characters apparently in Chinese, which would translate to “ten thousand.” In all cases, according to the UDEF, the envelopes contained exact amounts of 10,000 euros, which, added to the rest of the seized cash, raises the total to 286,070 euros.
