The three men were on vacation in Barcelona and were off duty. The newspaper explains that the victim was a woman who worked as a prostitute, who was with them inside the taxi. One of the officers allegedly groped her and, when she defended herself, another officer reportedly hit her on the head. The woman had to receive medical attention and later filed a complaint.
The Mossos went to the accommodation of the three individuals, who were in Barcelona on a trip organized with other people. The officers arrested two of the suspects. One of them, who was the taxi’s front passenger and had not participated in the assault, resisted arrest and is free but under investigation for assaulting an authority figure.
