The Ceuta crisis continues to dominate the political agenda and the PP keeps pointing to the Government for the massive entry of more than 70,000 immigrants from Morocco. The Congress spokesperson Ester Muñoz insisted this Sunday on accusing Pedro Sánchez’s Government of having “allowed” the invasion and warned that it is becoming “chronic.”

According to Muñoz, the Government “allowed” and “encourages and favors that there could be an invasion in Spain and, therefore, in the European Union” because it had the information the day before the massive crossing occurred and did not act accordingly. “That morning of July 30, with all the information the Government had, there were five civil guards protecting the border,” she said at an event in Madrid, referring to the little security at the border crossing.
In contrast, the popular spokesperson insisted on calling for elections and stopping Sánchez’s “forward drift.” “Spaniards deserve to speak and decide the country’s future through the ballot box,” she said.

For the PP, the Government still does not respond to the Ceuta crisis. “We remain immersed in a state crisis that is not being resolved, which, because of Sánchez’s Government, is becoming chronic,” she stated. Previously, in an interview with El Mundo, Alberto Núñez Feijóo pointed out that Morocco’s “aggression” against Spain “continues.” “If Morocco does not accept the return, the aggression continues. And, in my opinion, Morocco’s aggression is continuing,” he said.
The PP remains firm against Morocco for what happened in Ceuta and demands that all immigrants remaining in the autonomous city return immediately. “The solution only lies in those who entered our country irregularly returning,” she said.
