When the paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the victim in cardiopulmonary arrest and with a stab wound to the neck.
Resuscitation for 40 minutes
The healthcare professionals performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers for 40 minutes, although it was not possible to reverse the arrest, according to the spokesperson for Emergencies 112 of the Community of Madrid, Javier Chivite.

They also attended to another 24-year-old man, a friend of the victim, with a stab wound on the left side of the chest, who was transferred as potentially serious to the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Majadahonda.
Summa 112 also sent the on-call psychologist to the scene to attend to the family and friends of the victims, who were present.
