Three other autonomous governments led by the PP, however, will be absent from the Childhood and Adolescence sectoral commission on August 13, since the department responsible for those competencies in those governments is in the hands of Vox and in Santiago Abascal’s organization they have decided not to join the meeting convened by the Ministry of Youth and Childhood led by Sira Rego. These are Aragón, Extremadura, and Castilla y León.

Regarding the migratory crisis, Bendodo defended that the PP is a state party that “always” complies with the law, which implies that if the Government decrees the distribution of minors, as current legislation allows, they will comply. In his view, in this crisis the Executive “has to talk and negotiate with Morocco.” “These minors have to return to their families,” emphasized the Popular leader, who has asked for the Immigration Law to be enforced, which in one of its articles provides that minors return to their parents.
On the other hand, Bendodo took advantage of his presence in Barcelona to denounce that the PSOE has postponed 70 times the law to combat squatting that the Senate approved so that it can be debated and processed in the Congress of Deputies. According to the PP leader, four out of ten occupied homes are in the city of Barcelona.
“The PP approved in the Senate an anti-squatting law that allows evicting squatters within 48 hours,” Bendodo recalled.
