Real Madrid reported the initiative in support of Ceuta on its website. “Before the start of the match between Elche and Real Madrid, players from both teams took to the field at Manuel Martínez Valero wearing shirts that read ‘We are all caballas’, as a show of solidarity with Ceuta.”
The shirt also caused an unpleasant situation for Ez Abde. The Moroccan Betis player participated in the act wearing the garment before the match against Villarreal, which led to a crowd of people insulting him through social networks. Faced with this situation, the winger hid his posts and later published a story on Instagram clarifying that at “no time” had he used the shirt “with a political objective”.
