Two youth players from RCD Mallorca, one of them a minor, have been arrested for secretly recording the sexual encounter that one of them had with a minor, according to the Balearic newspaper ‘Última Hora’ and confirmed by sources from the National Police.

The events occurred on August 14. The two boys went to a home in Palma where several players from the club’s youth teams live, accompanied by the minor, who is over 16 years old and voluntarily went to the property. One of the young men linked to Real Mallorca, of legal age, had consensual sexual relations with her. Meanwhile, the minor, hidden in a closet, recorded the scene without the girl’s knowledge. She noticed and, days later, reported what happened to the National Police.
Both footballers have been expelled from the club with immediate effect
Both are accused of an alleged crime of corruption of minors for their participation in the non-consensual recording. Agents from the Family and Women Unit (UFAM) of the National Police are also investigating whether other youths are involved and if there could be other victims who may have been recorded having sexual relations with the suspects.

The boy who made the recording is a minor, so his file has been sent to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office. The other footballer, of legal age, appeared before the duty court this Thursday, which ordered his release.
Although RCD Mallorca has not yet issued any statement about the case, ‘Última Hora’ reports that the two involved have been expelled from the club.
