United States President Donald Trump said on Monday that “illegal immigration is killing Europe” and that the situation in his country when the Democrats “had open borders” was “much worse” than the massive influx of migrants into the Spanish North African enclave of Ceuta.

“Illegal immigration in Europe must be stopped. I know Europe better than anyone, better than those who govern it, and I have excellent relations there. There are two things that are destroying Europe. The first is immigration. The second is energy,” Trump said to the media in the Oval Office.
“When I saw what happened in Spain, I told myself that we had a version of that, you could say much worse. We allowed the entry of 25 million people under the administration of Joe Biden and the Democrats. We had open borders and countries from all over the world sent people to our country that they did not want,” he stated.
The president boasts of having “the best border”
Trump boasted that his country currently has the “best border” through which “not a single person” has entered in 15 months after tightening immigration policies with mass deportations, visa restrictions, and border security.
The White House occupant believes that “immigration is an incredible problem for Europe” because it is allowing “people who, in many cases, will not contribute anything positive” to enter, a position shared by several members of his Cabinet, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

He also baselessly accused “many of them (migrants)” of committing “more than one murder”: “We will end up the same if those lunatics I see running for public office come to power,” he warned.
The U.S. president said he feels “very sorry” for what Europe is going through both with migration and energy.
“There are windmills everywhere. With windmills, you lose even your shirt. Any country that bets on windmills is a loser. That’s right, just look: if they have windmills, they are losers, because with them you lose money,” he asserted.
