Traffic cuts and disruptions to train circulation after the heavy rains recorded early this morning on the Costa Daurada. The Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya issued a warning on Saturday for rain accumulation after nearly 200 liters per square meter were recorded in a few hours on the Baix Penedès coast and more than 110 liters per square meter in some points of the northern coast of Tarragonès.

During the storm, three people were injured after being trapped when a wall collapsed in the port of Roda de Berà, according to the Bombers, who received the alert shortly after two in the morning. The heavy rains also forced the evacuation of the Les Sirenas campsite in Creixell and a nightclub in El Vendrell.
A bus has taken about a hundred young people to the Pla de Mar school, where a reception center has been opened. Centers have also been set up in the Roda de Berà sports center and in the Creixell municipal center.
The storm caused the closure in both directions of the N-340 between El Vendrell and Torredembarra due to flooding of the road. The road has now reopened in this section, as reported by the Servei Català de Trànsit. On the AP-7, one lane is closed southbound at the Riera de Gaià.
Rail traffic has also been affected and the flooding of the Sant Vicenç de Calders station forced the suspension of the Rodalies lines R2 Sud, R4, R13, R14, R15, R16, R17, and RT2, after Protecció Civil activated the Ferrocat pre-alert.

During the night, Bombers attended 192 alerts related to the storm. The alerts received were mainly concentrated in the Baix Penedès and Tarragonès regions.
