In cases of possible homicide, which are tried by popular jury, it is not uncommon for the investigating judge to go to the scene of the events with the main suspect to clarify their version, accompanied by the investigating police, the prosecution, and the lawyers for the prosecution, if any, and for the defense. In Andic’s specific case, it would involve checking in situ the version of Andic’s son, which varied in some aspects in his various statements, especially regarding the situation of the two and how he saw the fall.

On the other hand, the public prosecutor’s office has also requested, as a proceeding, the testimony of the two hikers who met Jonathan Andic just after the events, as reported by TVE and confirmed by ACN. The Mossos did not take their statements, considering that it was not relevant to the case, but the public prosecutor’s office wants to know how they saw the only person who was with the deceased at the time of the events.
