Moreno was participating in a Nueva Economía Forum breakfast at the Alfonso XIII hotel and during the question session he gave his view on immigration which, he said, is fundamental for Andalusia. “Immigration is a phenomenon that occurs worldwide. Migrants are necessary. The Andalusian economy,” he added, “cannot achieve the goals we have set if immigrants do not participate. Agriculture stops if we do not have immigrants.”
The PP candidate criticizes the central Administration’s immigration policy because it has “generated chaos”
For that reason, he considered that Vox’s proposals make no sense. “The Spanish Constitution, the Statute of Autonomy, and the current Immigration Law must be complied with. And anything that involves breaking this law the Popular Party will never do, neither here nor in Aragon nor in Extremadura.”

However, the leader of the PP of Andalusia has reproached the central Government for the lack of an immigration policy which causes “chaos, disorganization, and social problems.” “We are in favor of order according to Spain’s capacity and integration. Any other objective seems out of place to me,” he concluded.
