The Mossos d’Esquadra arrested one of the squatters of an apartment on Muntaner Street on Thursday afternoon who was making life difficult for the building’s neighbors. A new forest fire has been declared this Wednesday in Aldea del Fresno (3,400 inhabitants) and has forced the confinement of this locality and the nearby municipality of Villamantilla (1,700). The National Geographic Institute (IGN) has recorded six earthquakes of different intensities since midnight this Wednesday in Granada and its metropolitan area, five of them felt by the residents and added to the magnitude 3.4 earthquake that closed Tuesday.
The seismic series, with about fifty earthquakes recorded this Tuesday in Granada, has caused minor damage to the monumental complex of the Alhambra, none structural.
