According to Israeli media reports, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have carried out selective incursions based on intelligence both beyond the advanced defensive line and north of the Litani River, focusing on areas where the Shiite armed group maintains infrastructure and operational positions.
The operations coincide with an intensification of Israeli Air Force bombings over southern Lebanon, where the IDF attacked more than a hundred Hizbulah targets during the night.
