The investigating judge in the dana case has ordered the president of the Diputació de València, Vicente Mompó, to be summoned again as a witness to be questioned regarding the statement made on Monday by the mayor of Torrent, Amparo Folgado, who told Judge Ruiz Tobarra that around 6 p.m. on October 29, 2024, she called Mompó, who was present at Cecopi although not obliged to be there due to his position, to warn him that water was flowing down the l’Horteta ravine with an “extraordinary” flow level.

Folgado stated that she called an hour later the former regional secretary and investigated Emilio Argüeso, to whom she communicated that the area was flooded and that she believed there was a victim.

The president of the Diputación then stated that he could not have information about the Poyo ravine until 7 p.m. and that the situation in l’Horta Sud was not discussed at Cecopi until after 8:11 p.m. because the technicians “did not tell us anything.”
