Dies Daniel Siad, the man who recruited models in Barcelona for Jeffrey Epstein

The Franco-Swedish model agent Daniel Siad, identified as a recruiter of young people for the network of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead on Monday night at his home in Colombes, on the outskirts of Paris, the Nanterre prosecutor’s office confirmed this Wednesday.

Siad was 69 years old and has been identified in declassified US Department of Justice (DOJ) documents as a scout and recruiter of young women and girls for the network of Epstein, the American financier convicted of sex crimes.

In the documents, the city of Barcelona appeared as one of the bases of the human trafficking network that Epstein built with Siad’s help.

His name appears cited more than two thousand times in the so-called “Epstein papers.” Former model agent Jean-Luc Brunel, another close collaborator of Epstein who died in 2022 in a French prison, identified Siad to investigators as “a scout or recruiter of girls and/or women for Jeffrey Epstein.” Siad worked for the modeling agency What’s Up Management.
