The Mossos d’Esquadra received notice this Friday of the discovery of a corpse in Lloret de Mar (Selva). The body was found in a container, with signs of violence.

According to the Catalan police, the alert of the corpse’s discovery took place at 16:25 hours and investigators are currently working to determine the causes of death.
The discovery, according to sources close to the case, occurred in a residential area of Lloret de Mar, with the Mossos d’Esquadra not providing further details about the circumstances of the incident for now.

According to what this newspaper has learned, the homicide group of the Mossos de Girona has already arrived at the scene. The identity of the deceased is also not known at this time, pending the progress of the investigation.
