For many years it had become a recurring joke to criticize young people who were growing up and still living in their parents’ house. The jokes turned into grimaces upon realizing that if they did not emancipate from the family home, it was not out of whim, but because of the difficulties in accessing decent housing. Years go by, and the only significant change that has happened is that today society is already aware that we are facing a serious problem. Now it must be solved.

We could wallpaper the walls of our newsroom with the news we have published about government plans, autonomous entities, or many municipalities with initiatives to address the problem, but this issue is becoming a general failure of all political parties.
