The spokesperson for Junts in Congress, Miriam Nogueras, warned this Tuesday that they will not give “a single vote” to the Government if Catalonia is not left out of the transfer to the autonomous communities of unaccompanied migrant minors who arrived in Ceuta during last week’s migration crisis.

“Junts will not give a single vote if Catalonia is NOT left OUT of the distribution,” she stated this Tuesday in a post on ‘X’, where she recalled that her party achieved last year “what no one had ever done before,” which was to exclude Catalonia from the transfers. “And we did it alone,” she added.
Referring to Esquerra Republicana, she highlighted that “the rest of the Catalan deputies” then accepted “as always and without appeals,” that “Spain continued to abuse the Catalans and continued to put pressure on a country that can no longer take it.”

Nogueras stated that “some” will label them as “racists” for decisions like this and called to “keep defending Catalonia” while “many” dedicate themselves to “empty talk” with an “arrogance” that she “had never seen in supposedly Catalan profiles.”
