Alberto Núñez Feijóo visited Andalusia again this Wednesday to support Juanma Moreno in his bid to renew the absolute majority. On this occasion, the leader of the PP was in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) and wanted to claim the line and the “change” that Moreno has brought to Andalusia, which must be “extended” to Spain, and he lashed out at the PSOE candidate María Jesús Montero for corruption, recalling that she has been in the government during the ERE case and the Koldo case.

“We do not want to return to the Andalusia of the ERE nor establish the Andalusia of the Ábalos, the Koldos, and María Jesús Montero’s gang,” Feijóo said, assuring that what was seen this Wednesday in the Supreme Court, where Víctor de Aldama testified in the framework of the Koldo case trial, is “very serious” and is “the perfect portrait of the Sanchist era.”
In this regard, he challenged the Prime Minister himself to file a lawsuit against Aldama to refute the accusations, since the commission agent of the plot has implicated Sánchez in the Koldo case. Feijóo, referring to Aldama’s statement, pointed out that for the first time “a minister of a government in office until a few months ago” is sitting on the bench and “the Prime Minister is pointed out as the ‘one’ of a criminal organization for being an accessory and accomplice to several crimes.”
“If by this time Sánchez has not filed a lawsuit against Mr. Aldama, then it was not made up. Then, it is corruption, influence peddling, and prostitution paid with public money,” Feijóo stated, linking the corruption cases of Sánchez’s current government with those of past socialist governments in Andalusia since, in both, Montero has always played a leading role.
Against this socialist “degeneration,” Feijóo has praised Moreno and positioned his model as a reference for Spain. “The change we are going to give Spain will be the change Juanma Moreno made 7 years ago. We will extend this to the whole of Spain,” Feijóo said, highlighting Andalusia as an “example of management” under Moreno’s tutelage for its good performance in the economic and social fields.

In fact, Feijóo even pointed out that Andalusia can “lead” Spain and “must be a protagonist of the country’s future.” However, for this, he prescribed stability, management, equality, and cleanliness.
In this regard, regarding stability, he cited the PP governments in La Rioja, Andalusia, Galicia, and the Community of Madrid as examples since they have an “absolute majority.” In contrast, he pointed to the Government of Spain, with parliamentary weakness and no ability to approve any budget throughout the legislature.
Feijóo, at this point, appealed to useful voting so that the PP can renew the absolute majority and called to avoid complacency due to polls that give Moreno between 54 and 55 seats out of the 109 at stake. “How many seats do we have? Zero. The parliament is dissolved. We do not have a single deputy at this moment. We start exactly the same as the others with zero seats. So don’t believe that we are doing well. Nothing is done here,” he warned.
The visit to Almería is Feijóo’s third trip to Andalusia after having already been to Córdoba and Huelva. The PP leader’s idea is to visit all Andalusian provinces if the schedule allows, and he already has an event planned in Málaga with Moreno on May 10.
