A man died stabbed on Wednesday night during a fight in a Hikari bar in the La Mina neighborhood of Sant Adrià de Besòs, on Manuel Fernández street, very close to Astronàutica. The 112 emergency number received several calls and patrols from the municipal police, Mossos d’Esquadra, and ambulances from the Servei d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) were dispatched to the scene. The first police officers to arrive at the establishment’s doors began cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers until they were replaced by medical personnel. But neither group could do anything for the man, who had several stab wounds incompatible with life.

This new crime adds to a tragic week in Barcelona. On Sunday night, a man died stabbed during a fight with another in l’Hospitalet, on Tuesday afternoon a man stabbed to death the mother of his children, and this Wednesday, this new stabbing fight adds to a terrible statistic in the number of homicides.
The victim would be a habitual offender
Pending official confirmation, the victim would be a habitual offender, a multiple recidivist who usually operated in Sant Adrià and Badalona.
The homicide group of the northern metropolitan police region has taken over the investigation. Last night, the Mossos had images of the alleged killer they were working with at the time of this edition’s closing.
This murder in the La Mina neighborhood clouds a first half of the year in which police officials had been preparing a very positive report of the latest data for days. Several police investigations have managed to dismantle several drug sales points and, most importantly, seize a good number of firearms that had recently been used in random early morning shootings with excessive frequency among rival groups.
