The firefighters of the Community of Madrid have rescued a 45-year-old woman who was sleeping in a paper container on Folklore street, in the southern Madrid municipality of Rivas Vaciamadrid, from a recycling truck.

The woman was sleeping in a paper container. The operator heard the woman’s screams after emptying the container into the truck, according to a spokesperson for Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.

The firefighters entered, along with a nurse from Summa 112, inside the truck’s box to stabilize and rescue the woman by hoisting her with the aerial ladder. The woman has serious injuries and has been taken to La Princesa hospital with a Summa 112 ICU.
