Juanfran Pérez Llorca has closed the budget agreement for the Generalitat Valenciana for 2026 with Vox. This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the far-right party, José María Llanos. The pact, according to the Vox spokesperson, was possible after both parties negotiated that the accounts include national priority in access to public aid, a reduction in taxation, and measures in favor of housing. The goal is for these budgets to be approved next Friday after the meeting of the plenary of the regional government with the idea that they will be ratified in the Corts Valencianes the week of July 21 to 24.

The Vox spokesperson in the regional Parliament made this announcement and pointed out that the negotiations also discussed reducing subsidies to employers’ associations and unions. The PP did not want to go into details on this matter. Llanos also emphasized that the accounts will help combat illegal immigration and announced that a fraud control service will be created for registrations.
Vox boasts that national priority will be applied as in Aragón and Extremadura
Regarding national priority, Llanos pointed out that nothing different from what was agreed in Extremadura and Aragón will be applied in matters such as access to aid for both the purchase and rental of housing.
For his part, the PP spokesperson, Nando Pastor, made it clear: “I see no problem with what the Vox spokesperson has said. National priority is a settled issue.” In this line, he defended that the proposed measures are already included in the immigration or housing plans approved by the national leadership on Genova street. “It is about prioritizing the aid granted to citizens,” minimized Pastor.

Llanos thanked “the willingness” and “the eagerness of the PP” and the Valencian president to have budgets before the session period ends. In fact, in the Junta de Síndics this Tuesday, it was necessary to modify the parliamentary calendar to include the processing of the Generalitat Valenciana’s accounts. It was planned that the Corts would go on vacation on July 3, and now they will not do so until the 24th.

The PP spokesperson, Nando Pastor, who left the honor of making the announcement to his partner, said that “today is a great day” and that the news is a sign of the Consell’s stability against the “misgovernment of the central Government.”
Opposition criticism
On the other side, the PSPV spokesperson, José Muñoz, demanded to know the content of the agreement with “full transparency” and lamented that the president had time to “negotiate with Abascal,” but not with the teachers. “He has steered the negotiations to secure his candidacy for the Generalitat Valenciana. However, since it did not benefit him personally, he did not negotiate with the teachers.”
For his part, the Compromís spokesperson, Joan Baldoví, predicted that the 2026 budgets “will mean a cut in rights and public services and more attacks on Valencian and culture.”
