A minor stabbed a man in the early hours of this Sunday, on Pau Street, next to the Fòrum beach in Sant Adrià de Besòs (Barcelonès Nord). The events occurred around six in the morning and ended with the arrest of the attacker thanks to the intervention of security guards from a nearby establishment, who provided the description.

Two units from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) went to the scene to attend to the victim, who was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition for now.
Investigating the origin of the fight
The Mossos d’Esquadra confirmed the arrest of the perpetrator of the assault and opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the events. In this regard, investigators are analyzing security cameras and witness statements collected in the port area to determine the origin of the fight.

The Sant Adrià City Council wanted to clarify some of the information initially disseminated. Municipal sources denied that the incident was a settling of scores between people of Roma ethnicity, as unofficial police sources had suggested, and specified that the injured man is of Maghreb origin and that the attacker is Spanish.
The council praised the quick action of the security guards of the establishment, which was decisive in making the arrest possible, and highlighted the collaboration between private personnel and police forces in resolving the case.
