The Mossos arrest two copper thieves who caused delays this Wednesday on Rodalies

Users of the R4 line of Rodalies have suffered delays again this Wednesday. This time, the reason was the theft of copper cable from the railway infrastructure between the towns of Sant Feliu de Llobregat and Molins de Rei. But on this occasion, although the service disruption could not be avoided, the Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested the thieves.

According to Rodalies, circulation has suffered delays of 30 minutes on average, so in some trips it has been longer. In addition, trains bound for Martorell had to start and end their journey in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Copper thefts have long represented a serious problem in the Rodalies network.
