The Valencian Institute of Competitiveness and Innovation (Ivace+i), dependent on the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Commerce, has granted, through a new batch of aid, a total of 5.6 million euros to facilitate the acquisition of 1,249 electric vehicles, within the framework of the Moves 2025 program.

Through this program, the Generalitat reports in a statement, Ivace Energía grants financial aid of 7,000 euros for individuals, self-employed and entities that acquire pure electric vehicles and 5,000 euros for plug-in hybrids.
According to the minister, Marián Cano, the transport sector “is the highest energy consumer in the Valencian Community and practically all of this consumption comes from oil, so it is essential to carry out active policies to promote a more sustainable type of mobility.”
For Cano, the promotion of sustainable urban mobility “involves giving priority to cleaner and more efficient modes of transport and it is essential to promote the renewal of the vehicle fleet that uses fossil fuels towards those powered by alternative energies, particularly electric vehicles.”

To date, more than 57 million euros have been allocated, which have supported the acquisition of 12,000 vehicles within the framework of the Moves 2025 program
The regional government highlights that the aid is granted in batches and, to date, as the minister has indicated, Ivace+ i Energía has already granted aid worth nearly 57.4 million euros to support the purchase of almost 12,000 electric vehicles.
These incentives, managed in the Valencian Community by Ivace+i, subsidize the direct acquisition or through financing operations by financial leasing or rental leasing (also called operational leasing) of new electric vehicles.
