Those sources assure that it was not decided that the property would be used as a temporary office for Díaz Ayuso while a renovation of the Real Casa de Correos, the seat of the regional government, was carried out.
“The decision on what to do regarding the move with the Sol works was left until the end of October. She went to visit a possibility. Not a decision,” they indicated in this regard.

This very morning, at the press conference following the Government Council, its spokesperson, Miguel Ángel García Martín, pointed out that the Community also inspected the apartment before the operation. When asked if Díaz Ayuso or “someone from her team” visited the penthouse before it was acquired, he answered: “When a property is bought, it is obvious that it is visited.”
The operation was executed in April, without being made public, and was only publicly known when El País revealed it on July 29. The next day, amid strong controversy, the Community announced that it would sell the apartment and allocate the funds obtained to the reconstruction of the Sierra Oeste after the fire suffered this summer.
