A shooting recorded on the night of this Sunday in the town of Isla Cristina, Huelva, has resulted in at least three people dead: a woman, her son – a minor -, and the mother and grandmother of the former. A man also hit by the fire is seriously injured.

According to Canal Sur and confirmed by sources close to the investigation, the shooting occurred around 10 p.m. in the El Rocío neighborhood when two hooded men on a motorcycle opened fire on these people and fled.

The homicide could be related, according to these sources, to the one that ended with a man dead and another injured in 2024 in the El Torrejón neighborhood of Huelva in what would be a settling of scores.

In that case, the alleged perpetrator, known as El Baba, was arrested days later in Gijón. He was placed in pretrial detention.
The Civil Guard has taken over the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident, as well as to try to identify the alleged culprits.
