Teachers’ unions have just signed peace with the Generalitat Government in exchange for a 400 euro monthly salary increase in 2029. The Administration has improved the teachers’ salary raise by 50 euros compared to yesterday’s proposal, which has pleased the majority of the union organizations, including Ustec. The registration of the dates took place after failing to reach an agreement on salary and resource improvements in education following hours of negotiation. This same Friday, amid the exchange of accusations between Educació and unions, the Ustec spokesperson has already warned that if no agreement is reached, they do not rule out coming out with a strengthened schedule of mobilizations.
