Six weeks of summer closure on Barcelona Metro Line 1 between Florida and Plaça de Sants

The residents of l’Hospitalet are this year the most affected by the usual summer infrastructure renovation cuts in the Barcelona metro. Line L1 will be out of service between Florida and Plaça de Sants stations from July 17 to August 28. It will be six weeks during which users of the closed section of the red line will be without metro service. Those from the rest of l’Hospitalet will have to choose the best alternative to avoid extending their journey more than necessary during the hottest days of the year with fewer passengers on the subway. Around 40,000 people will be affected every day.
