Madrid has climbed 11 places in the global quality of life ranking featured in the report Mapping the World’s Prices 2026 prepared by Deutsche Bank Research Institute.

Barcelona is more convenient for getting around by public transport

The capital of Spain ranked 16th in this latest edition, eleven places above the position it held in 2020, allowing it to be in the top 20 for global quality of life and ahead of benchmark cities such as London, Paris, or New York.
