The Firefighters of the Madrid City Council worked this Friday to extinguish a fire declared in a restaurant located on Bravo Murillo street, in the Madrid district of Tetuán, Emergencias Madrid reported.

As a preventive measure, the personnel proceeded to evacuate the two residential buildings located above the establishment while they carried out the control and fire extinguishing tasks.
Meanwhile, Samur-Protección Civil medical staff attended to a man for mild smoke inhalation poisoning. After being assessed on site, he was discharged without the need for hospital transfer.

So far, the causes that originated the fire and the extent of the material damage caused have not been disclosed.
