FIFA has indicated that 30 custom-made rings will be delivered to the winning team after the final at the New York-New Jersey Stadium, and that the captain and the coach will initially receive provisional versions just after the match. Subsequently, the rings will be personalized to reflect the identity of the winning team and individually adjusted before being delivered at a later date.

On one side will appear the World Cup trophy, while on the other specific details will be included that reflect the identity of the winning team.
The players’ rings will be part of a limited edition of 2,026 individually numbered pieces, and the remaining 1,996 will be put on sale for fans worldwide as officially licensed products.
Championship rings are a long-standing tradition in major North American sports, such as the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball, and NHL, but they had never before been awarded in a FIFA competition.
