The Generalitat Firefighters are working this Wednesday afternoon to extinguish another fire burning intensely in Sant Quirze Safaja (Moianès) with 18 ground units and 3 aerial units. According to provisional data from the Rural Agents, who are working on the causes of the incident, the fire affects an approximate area of about 70 hectares.

Due to this fire, Civil Protection has requested the confinement of the houses in Pla de la Casanova. Additionally, the Mossos d’Esquadra have preemptively evacuated the Can Micaló colony house and the Illa campsite.
In a post on X, they explain that the fire has jumped to the road from Centelles to Sant Feliu de Codines (Barcelona) and has launched some secondary spots. The Firefighters are prioritizing extinguishing the left flank, which is the one with the highest risk of spreading.

According to sources from the Firefighters, the flames would have originated in the same area where there was another fire last June 24 and would have jumped to the road.
